Short answer
A pull-out faucet's wand comes forward out of a lower spout rather than down from a high arc, so the specs that matter are hose length and spout height — not arc. The Moen Sombra 87701SRS is the one to fit in most kitchens: 1.5 gpm, a 59-inch hose, a 9.93-inch spout, and a matching soap dispenser in the box.
Pull-out faucets are bought for two reasons that a pull-down cannot serve: filling something that will not fit in the sink, and clearing a low window sill. Both come down to numbers the manufacturers publish, so this is an unusually checkable decision.

Hose length is the specification nobody compares
The entire argument for a pull-out is that the wand travels. A 59-inch hose reaches a bucket on the floor beside the cabinet; a 68-inch hose reaches one across the other side of it. Moen publishes both figures — 59 inches on the Sombra, 68 on the Method — and that nine-inch difference is the difference between kneeling next to the sink and standing up straight.
It is also the spec most listings omit entirely. If a pull-out faucet's page does not state hose length, the manufacturer is not expecting you to compare it, and you should assume the shorter end of the range.
Spout height, and the window-sill problem
The other reason to choose pull-out is clearance. A sink under a window frequently has less than a foot between the deck and the sill, and a 15-inch pull-down simply does not fit — or fits until you try to lift the wand out of its dock, which is worse, because you discover it after installation.
The Renzo's 5.56-inch spout is the answer to that, and what makes it unusual is that it keeps 9.63 inches of reach. Most low-arc faucets shorten reach along with height, which leaves the water landing at the back of the basin. Where a pull-down is the better buy
If your sink is deep, your clearance is generous and you mostly wash tall cookware, the high arc of a pull-down is genuinely more useful and the wand docks more securely — the best pull-downs use magnets, where pull-outs generally rely on a counterweight and a seat. The pull-out we would fit, and the one that quietly solves a second problem: it ships with a matching soap dispenser, so a three-hole sink converting to a single-hole faucet has something to put in the spare hole that was designed alongside it. Moen · Best for wide double bowls and long reach
The longest reach of any faucet in this registry at 10.2 inches, on a pull-out body with a 68-inch hose. That combination is specifically what a wide double-bowl sink needs: enough reach to serve the far bowl from a centered faucet hole, and enough hose to take the water anywhere else.

The faucet for a sink under a window. Its spout stands 5.56 inches tall — low enough to clear a sill that stops a high-arc faucet dead — while still reaching 9.63 inches, which is further than several faucets twice its height. In a rental or a low-clearance kitchen that combination is hard to find.
