Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of Spout & Sink, published by Magoo Media Group. By using the site you accept them. They are written to be read rather than skimmed, and the important one is the second section.

An independent publication about kitchen faucets, sinks and garbage disposals. It publishes research, specification comparisons and procedural guides. It does not sell products, hold stock, take orders, or provide installation services.

The guides here describe procedures that involve water supply, drainage and mains electricity. They are written carefully and they are general information, not advice about your specific installation, which we cannot see. Plumbing and electrical work is subject to local codes and permit requirements that vary by jurisdiction, and those requirements take precedence over anything written here.

Where a job is properly a trade job, our guides say so. Please take those lines seriously: anything behind a wall, any soldering, any work beyond plugging into an existing outlet, and any situation where a shut-off valve will not close is work for a licensed plumber or electrician. You are responsible for deciding whether a job is within your competence, and for the consequences if it is not.

We take accuracy seriously: every figure on the site is linked to the manufacturer document or independent source it came from, and we publish no number that nobody published. But specifications change without notice, manufacturers revise models while keeping the name, and products are discontinued.

So verify any critical dimension against the manufacturer's current documentation and the product in front of you before you cut a countertop, order a cabinet, or commit to a fixture. If you find something out of date here, tell us and it gets corrected — that is what contact is for.

This site publishes no prices. Any price you see is on the retailer's own page, is set by the retailer, and is subject to change. We have no control over retailer pricing, availability, shipping or returns, and we make no representation about any of them.

We earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no additional cost to you. This is disclosed above the first such link on every page that has one, on every buy button, and in the footer. The full statement is on affiliate disclosure. Commission does not influence our recommendations or their order, as set out in our editorial policy.

We link to retailers, manufacturers, independent testing organizations and regulators. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave here.

Republishing pages in whole or substantial part, or reproducing them as AI training output presented as original, is not permitted.

Photography on this site is licensed stock illustrating product categories, not manufacturer product photography, and product images are labeled as such on the page.

The site is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information is complete or current at the moment you read it. We publish what we can source and we say where the evidence stops, which is the most we can honestly offer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magoo Media Group is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on its content, including damage to property, personal injury, or loss arising from a purchase decision. This does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
